AIPACS HUMANITARIAN AID RELIEF KIT - "HARK 1000"

The AIPACS Humanitarian Aid Relief Kit - "HARK1000" has been specifically designed as a self-contained total package to provide immediate emergency relief aid for up to 1,000 persons. The AIPACS HARK 1000 contains all that is required to stabilise a traumatised population, to provide the immediate essentials such as emergency first aid, re-hydration, food, shelter, warmth, hygiene and sanitation. The kit provides the basic essential items that are required for post trauma rehabilitation as families begin to rebuild their lives and their communities.

    

Each kit contains sufficient items of equipment in the correct quantities to relieve and assist up to 1,000 persons. For communities of more OR less that 1,000 persons the quantities listed may be multiplied or divided as required. For example for 2,000 persons the quantities for the entire kit should be multiplied by 2.

Clean Water, Sanitation & Hygiene

Basic emergency water storage and distribution, purification and sanitation is included as an option within this kit. A more substantial package for deployment as an integral part of a full refugee camp facility is contained in a separate stand alone module. See AIPACS HARK WATSAN 1000.

AIPACS HUMANITARIAN AID RELIEF KIT -"HARK WATSAN 1000"

The AIPACS Humanitarian Aid Kit - HARK WATSAN 1000 has been specifically designed as a self-contained total package to provide immediate emergency relief water aid for up to 1,000 persons. The AIPACS HARK WATSAN 1000 contains all that is required to store and distribute clean potable water, including showers and latrines for up to 1,000 persons or multiples thereof as required.

       

Each kit contains sufficient items of equipment in the correct quantities to relieve and assist up to 1,000 persons. For a community of more or less than 1,000 persons the quantities listed may be multiplied or divided as required.

Basis: 1.2 million litres of supplied, bulk, potable water provides up to 1,000 displaced persons over a period of 60 days at the rate of nominal 20 litres per person per day for drinking, cooking and ablutions with storage and distribution designed to minimise water-bourne infections and diseases.
