DARFUR - SUDAN & CHAD

AIPACS OAC continues to provide Procurement & Logistics support to NGO`s and Red Cross Organizations operating in the Darfur region of Sudan and Chad. Operations are headed by AIPACS Sudan office based in Khartoum and are fully supported by AIPACS OAC in the U.K. and AIPACS KENYA office in Nairobi. Since 2004 AIPACS has been supplying Tents, Plastic Sheeting, Mosquito Nets, Kerosene Cooking Stoves, Water Storage and Purification, Generating Sets, Borehole Drilling Equipment & Consummables and Hygiene goods to name just a few, to projects in Nyala, El Fasher, El Obeid and Kadugli amongst other locations in Sudan & Abeche in Chad.

SOUTHERN SUDAN

AIPACS KENYA based in Nairobi is now supplying fresh meat, fruit and vegetables together with dried goods to the commercial camps and NGO`s alike with weekly flights from Nairobi to Juba. AIPACS OAC now have plans well advanced to open an office and warehouse facility in Juba, Southern Sudan in the very near future to enable our group to provide full logistcs support to UN operations, NGO`s and Commercial organizations operating in the region.

EARTHQUAKE IN PAKISTAN & INDIAN KASHMIR 2005

Within 60 hours of this devastating earthquake taking place AIPACS OAC were delivering the first of more than 12,000 Family Tents from our own factory in Lahore up to Peshawar, Mussafarabad and Bagh. In the weeks following AIPACS OAC delivered 200 large Marquee Tents for use as Schools and Reception Centres, 2,000 Wood Burning Stoves for use inside family tents, 70,000 Hygiene Kits and more than 200,000 corrugated iron sheets for use as roofing materials, all supplied from local production within both Pakistan and India. AIPACS OAC also shipped a number of Portable Buildings for use as field offices by our NGO customers who were operating at the front line in Pakistan Kashmir.

TSUNAMI EMERGENCY RESPONSE 2004 -2005

"THE BIGGEST AIRLIFT THE WORLD HAS EVER SEEN"

At 14.20 hours on December 26th 2004 the first call came through to AIPACS OAC to mobilize the first emergency airlift for Colombo, Sri Lanka. AIPACS OAC personnel worked 18 hour days for weeks on end moving thousand of tons of emergency goods to Sri Lanka, Indonesia and the Andeman & Nicobar Islands in the Indian Oceon. Plastic Sheeting, Tents, Kitchen Sets, Family Hygiene Kits, Water Carriers and Purification Equipment, Emergency Medical Supplies were airlifted from our facilities in Europe, Dubai, India & Pakistan to the affected areas on a daily basis.

With the livelihoods of so many people ruined AIPACS OAC today continues to supply goods and services to help re-build the lives of the coastal communities in Sri Lanka and Indonesia
